Misty is a pretty bay mare that is 14.0 hands. She has been inspected and approved by the American Connemara Pony Society. Her sire is *Windy Isles who is by *Windy Day, the pony swimming in the sea in the National Geographic special “The Irish Horse.” On her dam’s side, Maplehurst Michael McDare won the 2003 ACPS An Tostal award for outstanding achievement by a stallion.
At the West Coast Connemara Show in 2003, Misty won the prestigious Skip Noonan Trophy, awarded to the mare with the most points in performance and breed classes. Her foal, Cobblestone Kira, won the 2005 WCCS foal class against some of the toughest competition in years. She has produced three nicely put-together foals so far. We expect her foals to be good performers in a variety of disciplines.
